Birthday Waffles 
I can't believe he is eight years old!! He just asked me what time of day he was born and I told him 7:57 p.m. I also told him that the television had been on in the labor room and that he was born during Wheel of Fortune and he said I guess that's why I like to stay up so late. Cute kid!
Last night we had an interesting conversation:
John: Do I have to do schoolwork tomorrow?
Me: Yes.
John: But it's my birthday!
Me: I had to do schoolwork on my birthday.
John: But that was in the old days when teachers were mean!
