This one is not my fault! Apparently NJ was struck with a heatwave when we were in NC and my once thriving plant was a casualty! You probably can't tell from the photo but it is getting perky again. The stems have risen a little bit due to my watering and tender loving care. I will keep you posted as to its recovery.
We are not jumping back into school yet because my brain is still on vacation. My body has been transported back home but my mind is still lingering on the beach. Oh, well!
My mom has a blog!!! Check her out if you are so inclined.

LOL I have 4 flowers the kids made and one hanging plant I transplanted to my porch that have died. :-(

I knew it was only a matter of time. Frankly, I'm surprised it lasted this long. Bringing anything from the plant kingdom to your house is the kiss of death. That is a really funny picture!
Nice picture!!~smiles~ My Mother has this same problem with plants. So we only let her have artificial ones. Hope the poor thing makes a full recovery. Ya know, there are self-waterers on the market. Maybe you want to try one???
