Kevin and I spent the last twenty minutes searching for and picking out a ticker for my blog. We decided to do this only after we finished spying on our neighbor who had the police called on him. (No, we didn't call the coppers.) Our lives are so full.
We are trying to stay awake long enough to watch Project Runway. (This is Kevin's favorite show, but don't tell him that I told you.) My sister and I both watch P.R., one might say we are addicted devoted fans. It has all of the ingredients for a successful reality show. Santino, the man we love to hate. Nick, the designer that we love. Daniel V., who made this party dress for Nicky Hilton that we actually considered buying. (Again, don't tell Kevin.) Heidi Klum, the most beautiful pregnant woman in the history of the world. Seriously, how can she still look that good? I thought I looked good when I was pregnant, until I saw the picture of me in the pregnancy tankini that looked great on the Gap model. Sadly, I resembled Shamu, for it 'twas a black and white bathing suit. Call me Ishmael. But I digress...
Monday night the boys had wrestling. We recently started going to this program run by one of the guys on staff at our church. He himself is a wrestler, a quite good wrestler, who has been sought after by many local high schools to head up their wrestling programs. He has turned them all down for the opportunity to remain on staff at our church and volunteer his time to teach the boys about wrestling.
John and Jeremy love it and we love seeing them excited about it. It is a rigorous program, but they kept up like two little Sumo's. Now when they wrestle at home, they say things like, "John let me do a Takedown" or "Jeremy, let me do the cradle to you." It's funny to listen to in the other room, the mental images are hysterical.
Last night the boys had Scouts. Saturday is the Pinewood Derby so the kids were working on their derby cars. Kevin stays with Jeremy, but John is alright to do his car with his friends and his den leader. Kevin told me that Jeremy's den leader brought spray paint and a refrigerator box, and he let the kids paint their cars. He is a brave, brave man! It was a very ingenious idea and I am happy to report that no member of my family was permanently stained in the spray painting extravaganza.
Look to the finish!

Spray paint? Is he crazy? ;)
I love the ticker! Is it really going to happen that fast? I am so excited for you and your family. What a great adventure!!
We moved a lot when I was growing up and I always loved it- the chance to meet new people and to get away from those you weren't too fond of. ;)
Here's to a stress-free one month and four days!
And the reason the police were called? Please? I'm holding my breath.
LOL, Mom! He still hadn't moved his car and we think that his landlord called the fuzz. He was not a happy camper!
Seriously, I was passed out on the couch. :-)
Coppers, Fuzz...you're too much! Yay, it's Derby time. Michael's is already on his shelf collecting dust, lol!
Good luck to the boys on Saturday.
I'm looking!
I can't get Geo to watch P.R.! I tape them though. Along with my vast array of other reality TV shows... lol Geo's not a big fan of most of them and can't understand why anyone wants to watch the drama. He grew up with 5 women though so he's probably had his fill...lol
THe boy scouts sound SO neat, wish I could find a good troop around us!
HUGS
Good luck boys! Nice ticker - I can't believe you're leaving Jersey? Lucky you!
I love Project Runway! Santino makes me insane. I love Daniel V and Chloe.
I love project runway too...yeah...bet you would never have guessed that!!?? I loved this weeks episode.
How about how well Santino mimiced Mr. Parson's School of Design. Right On.
Just love it!
