Do the Shuffle

For Christmas I received new kicks and an IPod shuffle. I was uber excited about the sneaks but not so much about the IPod. I am not against IPods for religious reasons, but rather comfort reasons, plus I think that I am too cool to be a joiner.
But then, my husband bought me the shuffle and put music on it, and once I heard the melodious sounds of Dave Matthews crooning into my ear that I was his Angel , I was hooked. So today I began the first day of the rest of my life and went for a run with Dave Matthews and my new sneakers.
Oh, and just FYI, people can hear you singing along with your IPod even though you think that they can't.

NO! They can HEAR me? Aw, hell. It's going to be like the Walkman Incident of 5th grade all over again. Hmph.

I totally love my ipod. I don't know what I'd do without it. I do the walking thang, my poor knees can't run anymore -ack does that mean I am getting old-. I load up books on cd onto my ipod and it makes the walking go by faster. Soemthing to occupy my brain to not think about how much my calves are burning.
Happy New Year!

She's back!!!! :-) I got an MP3 player (I'm not too cool for an Ipod, just too cheap) last Christmas and I *love* it!! I have really gotten into downloading audiobooks from our library! But, I don't think you can do that on a shuffle.

Great to read your blog again!

All of my girls have iPods and I didn't think I wanted one- but I'm having too much fun making my "wish list" of songs- and I DO love that red nano that is out...
