Three Cheers for the English!

Betcha didn't know that the English introduced 'em. I didn't.

It's almost Easter. How do I know this?

Because my favorite confection, The Cadbury Creme Egg, can now be found at your local shopping hole. Oh, sugary nirvana! A mere glimpse of the blue foil sends me into a Pavlovian tailspin.

I did a little googling and discovered that 1 egg has only 150 calories. Not too shabby. I give myself carte blanche during this time because after Easter those little worldly pleasures are gone. What a marketing campaign. I buy one four-pack on the Saturday before Easter and save them for absolute emergencies. It's sad to see their quantity dwindle, but before I know it, it's Easter again!

What is your favorite Easter Candy?

I like the hollow chocolate bunnies -- not as hard on the teeth. But your Cadbury comment reminded me of my trip to London in '99. They had Cadbury vending machines in the Tube stations. Nirvana! Doubt that they're still there, but it was fun back then!

Ditto the Cadbury Cream Eggs - they are impossible to pass by. Also, the Cadbury mini-eggs- candy crunchiness on the outside with rich milk chocolate. You have to suck on them until little cracks break the shell and the chocolate seeps out...

Pardon me while I wipe the drool off my keyboard...

White chocolate bunny! My Mom gets me one every year. I am allergic to chocolate (migraine inducer) so this is what she does for me. I am not sure if I like the actual white chocolate or the fact that my Mom found something just for me!
