Some pictures for y'all!
The top photo is where the reception took place. We were way up in the Rockies and the view was spectacular. The snow, however, not so much! I had on my little black dress with open toe sandals and no pantyhose. Thank goodness I had that beautiful shawl that my dear aunt croched for me, I was toasty warm! The wedding was beautiful and we had such a great time. I didn't mention this in my last post but it was a wedding for Kevin's friend, they have known each other since they were five. It was like a reunion for him and we had such a great time. We were wishing that we had more time to spend and that the boys were with us. Colorado is a definite vacation spot in the future.
There was a live band at the wedding reception and they were terrific. The lead singer's name is Tempa and the name of the band is Tempa and the Tantrums, how cute is that? We danced to Mustang Sally and I can't for the life of me remember the title but lyrics are, "Tell me something good....." If you can name the song, I would be grateful. They played some jazzy type music and some just plain great dancing music. We danced and laughed and had a wonderful time. After a lot of dancing, we sat down. There was a couple sitting at our table and the wife, Cathi asked us how long we have been married. Kevin said ten years in August. She could not believe it! She remarked how nice it was to see us enjoying each other and having such fun together. It was one of the nicest compliments I have ever received. I love my darling husband and I am truly blessed to be his wife.
Today I am a little foggy from some mild jetlag and not enough sleep but I am so glad to be with my boys. So far we have had a quiet morning of late breakfast, building legos and watching Reading Rainbow. I need to grab some more coffee and get in gear. I am glad to be home and enjoyed reading all of your leg shaving comments!!
Have a great day, my friends.
