At Least One Of Us Is Famous

I don't have a lot of time this morning, but I just wanted to share this article about Kevin. A woman from PS called me yesterday and left me a voice mail. At first, by the way she was talking, I thought, he's dead, they are calling to tell me he died. So when she said that he was going to be in the paper, I cried from relief!

I haven't heard from him since Wednesday and it is getting more and more difficult to keep a stiff upper lip, even with my mom here. I know this is turning into the Chronicles of Whinea, sorry.

We have a busy day ahead of us, school, art and tonight, mom, Laurie and I are going into the city to see The Producers and have dinner. This is our birthday present and we can't wait to go. Updates, tomorrow.

Trying to run with endurance, Laney

ROFL@Chronicles of Whinea Laney!!! See, even when you are sad and anxious you make me laugh (can you hear that laugh? hehe).

I'm glad you have a busy day, it will fly by for you and you'll be one day closer to holding Kevin again.

I'm so sorry you can't have good communication. Try to remember Gods promises. He brought you 2 together in such a wonderful way, you were meant for each other. Rest in that and try to find His peace. I know it's easier said than done but read Psalm 91, it's my "911 prayer".

Many hugs and true prayers,

Jess

I had tears in my eyes! I have been meaning to write and tell you I am thinking of you, the boys and Kevin. He is a hero! If you need anything, please let me know. I am right around the corner.

PS. I just read the article. He's such a good man Laney! You guys are famous too! ;-) I'm amazed they could get a coherent cell phone conversation, they may have had to fill.in.blanks.wife.sons.cot.home.devastation. ;-)

Love you Laney, he'll be home before you know it and this will all be behind you.

I am praying for Kevin's safe return and for your sanity and peace of mind.
I know it has to be hard for you.

Try to enjoy your night out on the town and not worry.

Very nice article. You must be very proud! He sounds like a special guy- he will come home to you soon. ;)

Once again...thank you for sharing your husband with my area. He's not far from me at all. I wrote about him on my blog if you want to check it out!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! :D

Oh, Laney! I know that feeling of relief...and I'm so sorry you had to get scared like that.

Bless your heart...

Laney!!!!!

What a wonderful article about your dh! I wrote a letter to the reporter thanking him for highlighting the good works that others are doing to help in the area.

It must be hard while he's gone, but now you have an article to print out and read and re-read to remind you why he's there!

(((Hugs))) to you!

I can only imagine your heart sinking into your stomach and then springing back with vehement force when you realized the true nature of the call. {{{hugs}}}

MI has had a lot of devastation, but nowhere near the violence of other areas, sweetie. He is in good hands, and he's going to come home safe and sound. Trust me on this.

In the meantime, HELLO!?!? Whinea? You've been far less, erm, vocal, shall we say, than I would be under the same circumstances. Honest. And if you need a good laugh now and then, just think, based on Jess' theory of fill-in-the-blanks, just how truly weird that article could have gotten! ;-)

Still praying for all of you,
Dy
