Lions and Tigers and Bears...Oh my!

O.K., there are no lions, but we've got tigers and bears!

Our new Tiger Cub, Jeremy. He came in my room this morning and said, "Mommy, I forgot to tell you one other thing that I thought about Cub Scouts last night...I love being a Tiger." For two years he watched John don his uniform and happily trounce off to scouts and now he gets to join in the fun as well. The first night that he came home, he knew the motto, the Scout salute and the Cub Scout Promise. He is an all or nothing kind of kid and when he likes something, it shows!

John is a Bear this year and just loving it! He is all about the patches, filling up that yellow vest has been his goal since he was a Tiger. This will be his year, I can feel it. You can't see from the picture but he has a lot of patches along the bottom of the vest and on the back.

Busy day today, hayride with apple and pumpkin picking. Pictures tomorrow!

If you get a chance, please check out my dear friend Meg's blog. She is the one who, so graciously, helped us out last week. She just did her "5 Things."

Oh they are SO proud and it shows! How CUTE!! When I was there last week...Jeremy looked up at me so seriously and said, "Did you know I'm a tiger Cub?" It was all I could do not to hug him! (I didn't think such serious news warrented a hug in HIS book!! He's a cute little tiger cub anyway..even if it has nothing to do with the scouts!! I'll have to take a looksie at Johns cool vest the next time I'm up! Can't wait to see hayride pictures! (PS I actually blogged this morning...yes..I did my "5 Things" homework....)
