Dearest Blogger Friends,
If I wasn't as sick as a dog with a nasty strep infection, I would write a long post about the doctor's office experience that I had this morning. It will keep, I'm sure.
I dragged myself off of the couch long enough to wish you all a healthy and happy new year. I myself am ringing it in alone, but I'm doing it up big with Amoxicillin and a Nyquil chaser. Kevin was supposed to be home at 7 p.m. but was detained because of a sub station fire and won't be home until 11-ish.
My mommy was here all day holding down the fort so that I could lay in bed and sleep. Thanks, mommy!
You know you're sick when your mother says, "Gosh, Laney, you look just awful. Don't talk anymore, you sound terrible." LOL
