Thursday

Well, I have finally done the Christmas picture! I bought the cards a week ago and took the picture last night. I have to say, I'm getting better, last year it took me a lot longer to get my act together. This is not the final picture because John looks like a vampire, they were making funny faces and I couldn't resist snapping a shot.

This is the picture that I will send out tonight. The boys were thrilled to be in my room and even more thrilling than being in my room, was being on my bed. I don't let them on the bed when it's already made. When it isn't made, they are free to come in and hop into the bed with us, but when the bed is standing in it's Pottery Barn Catalog glory (insert angels singing here) no one is allowed on it, not even Kevin. This is not since having children, this was always my policy. Ask my mother, she'll tell you. I let the kids go anywhere in the house, heck I even let them play with Play-Doh and use paint unsupervised, I just have bed issues.

Golly, these kids are cute!

Let me just say how much I love the internet! I just ordered my Christmas pictures online and can go pick them up in one hour. I could have had them delivered, but the store is only 4 miles away, so I'm saving myself some moola.

It's kind of weird though, this whole internet thing, it's getting so that we hardly have to leave our homes anymore. Has anyone else noticed this?

Unfortunately, Shop-Rite will continue to be a place that I need to travel to. I have one thing to say about my Shop-Rite experience today. I don't care that my baby is playing with my cell phone, so why do you, you mean old lady with a bad wig?

We are expecting more snow tonight and I am less than happy about this. Tomorrow, Jeremy, Joe and I are supposed to go to the Franklin Institute and snow was not in our plans. I am really hoping that the trip will not be cancelled. When you are an adult, snow looses some of its charm.

Gotta run! I am responsible for dinner tonight for Laurie and I. I am making chicken enchiladas and corn bread, yummmy!

Very cute kids, Laney!! I'm working on my card too. By the way, snow has not yet lost its appeal to me. :-)

The boys are beautiful. Really, very handsome, wow! Yes, there is something great about being in Mom amd Dad's bed.

Shop-Rite. I just love reading your posts. Oh, the shopping I've done in there. When going to the supermarket here, Honey and I still make the mistake and call it Shop_Rite. LOL

Even if you don't ask me, I'll tell you that she does not allow the boys in her room. I have seen them play tag or wrestle in the hall and come close to going in the door and they pull up short. They are one well trained brood! Even I don't go in her room.
Can't wait to receive the Christmas card.
Miss you.

Your boys are so handsome!
I just have one questio- how do you get them to be so obedient and not step foot in your room without permission? (you can leave out any parts that involve torture chambers or withholding food) ;) I want to know your secret!

Most adorable. My Mom loves their little faces too. I also need some help with the kids in the bed thing. I need to meet you for a cup of tea or something for tips on raising kids. I hope you have a very Merry Xmas.
