This is our new house in North Carolina! Yeah, baby!!

It was the first house that we looked at, on the first day that we arrived. We walked in and we just knew that it was going to be ours. It was a little more than we wanted to spend but God went before us once again. The owner dropped his price twice. The first time was earlier in the week and then again on the day we arrived, putting the house right into our safe range. We made an offer and he accepted and we are thrilled!!!

There are four bedrooms, a huge living room with a fireplace, 2 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. There is also a bonus room over the garage along with a beautiful kitchen, laundry room and dining room. The roof is new, the windows are new, the hardwood floors are new and there is new carpet in three of the four bedrooms. The house sits on 0.64 acres, one of the largest pieces of property on the block. The yard is fenced and the street is quiet. We are so excited!

The dining room, ironically, her colors are my colors!

The living room fireplace. This room is actually 18x30 but we only got a little bit of the room in the picture.

The master bedroom with a master bath and a walk-in closet. My shoes will be so happy!

Behold! The kitchen!! The owners are leaving the refrigerator because it matches the stove, we totally love these owners!

The best part? The dishwasher! After four years of hand washing dishes we can finally just push a button. I swear, I'm gonna run that sucker with just one fork in it!

The back of the house and some gorgeous woman holding a baby- oh wait- that's me!!

We are scheduled to move in the beginning of March, hopefully all will go as planned. Thank-you all for your prayers and encouragement! I had to tell my mom first because it's not really real until my mother knows about it. Love you, mom!

Look to the finish!

ROFL@you - you're so modest Laney. ;-)

Her decorating is beautiful! I'd keep almost everything the same. And I love the little box above your fan in your bedroom. I know there's an official name for it, my dad yells at me all the time cause he's a carpenter and eveyrthing to me is "thingys" and "whatsits" lol

HUGS and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

Oh my gosh! I am so frickin' excited for you and the your family! What a cool and exciting adventure you will be embarking on. And I absolutely love the house! That has "Dawn" written all over it, my colors and everything. Man, what I would do with .64 acres. Can't get that kinda property where I live without shelling out your whole life's savings, plus your next life savings too.
Good luck with all the packing. It's hard to be in packing limbo.
love ya!

FYI God provided employment. It is not the job I had planned for but It is the one GOD has for me for now. Call unto ME and I will answer thee; and show you great and mighty things which thou knowest not. Jer. 33:3. We're steppin out!
