Not only was I single handedly able to upload a photo without using Picasa, I was able to put the image and blog link on my sidebar. I was so proud of myself that I stood up with my hands in the air and yelled, "Woo-hoo!!" This is quite an accomplishment for a non-technical gal.
I did it, I joined the Summer Reading Challenge. If you are interested, just click here. I am finally going to get to all of the books that have been waiting for me to gently turn their pages. Ooohhh, the excitement!
I decided to begin by finishing To Kill a Mockingbird. It's not that I don't enjoy it when I am reading it, I just don't feel myself wanting to run back to it when I put it down. This will be the summer that I finish it.
I have a lot of others that I am going to read, too. My goal is two books a week. I know that I could probably do three, but I'll start with two.
Won't you join me?
Look to the finish!

Please finish "to kill a mockingbird" because the little girl staring at me freaks me out! Actually you can stop all other responsibilities an finish it. I love you.
I only commited to one book per week so you are way ahead of me!
Congrats on your new bikini-wearing figure!
To Kill a Mockingbird is on my challenge list also. I'm commiting to only one book per week, but also starting a Greek study. Wheeeeeee!
I just finished Beach Road and I loved it! I could not wait to finish it, so now I need a new book for the beach. I enjoy James Patterson books and last year I read The Lake House. I have to see what I can find that is along that road. Good luck with your challenge - I am sure you can do it!
Cara,
I am so glad you like James Patterson, I really enjoy his books, too. I have Beach Road on reserve. Can't wait!
Amy, you're my hero! Greek??!!:-)
Kevin, I am holding you to that!
Okay, that's it, you know me-the joiner kind of gal. I'm going to do this too. I'll post my list later today.

I joined!!! My list will be posted later, also.
Take care, dear girl!! Have a wonderfully blessed weekend.
Hugs to all!!
Blessed be...
Laney, I just got done listening to To Kill a Mockingbird on tape and I *loved* it. It was read by an acress with a great southern drawl, and it really made the book come alive for me. I hadn't read it since highschool and I didn't remember all that much. I love the character of Atticus Finch!
I am so glad to hear you say that, Mindy! I read four chapters tonight, it's growing on me! :-)
