Last week John wiped out in the garage while riding his skateboard. He hurt his knee pretty badly and, by the look on his face, was not too happy about it. After some ice and a lot of sympathy he made a fine recovery.
Ahh, yes, one of the other joys of having children. Can I ask, what's with all of the plastic cups? I guess we alone are to blame for pollution and toxic waste.
Umm, yeah. I have no idea what's going on here either. What can I say, he's nine and still loves the stroller.
A lesson in anatomy or just preparing for his Chippendale career?
The five of us, before evolution. Noooo, just a day at the aquarium.
Hey! Less posing for photos and more scrubbing and, you missed a spot on the rim.
Me and my boys. We tried and tried to get everyone to a) look at the camera, b) smile, or c) not look like they were posing for a mug shot, and this is what we got.
Today officially begins the Reading Challenge but I read a lot of To Kill a Mockingbird last night. I'm up to the part where Heck Tate and the men come to the Finch's house to see Atticus. I wish that they would leave Tom Robinson alone and get rid of Aunt Alexandra. Sheesh, that woman is annoying!
Look to the finish!

Great pictures. You and the boys did good. However, if you were all wearing stipes it could have been different, lol!
I'm looking.
LOVE THE PIX! Thank you so much for posting them - the captions were nifty too. Good luck in the challenge - I'm rooting for you.
The pictures are wonderful!
My favorite is the stroller picture. Up until a couple of years ago when Justin finally stopped using the stroller, whenever we went places and he got out, I got in. Ahhh, what sweet relief from walking, and so much better than sitting on the ground where those pesky varmint ants can crawl on you. Ewww!!!

Love the pics, Laney! You are so cute in the midst of all those boys!
Looks like there's never a dull moment around your place!!!
Darling Boys!
You're looking very slim, missy!

Cute pictures! I love the family shot (you and the boys, although the turtles are nice too), and the stroller particularly. Just yesterday, Travis, who is almost 8, tried to get into our jogging stroller.
Cordially,
Melora
Wonderful pictures. You have such a lovely family.
I loved To Kill a Mockingbird. I'm glad you're enjoying it.
The stroller picture cracked me up! Was just the giggle I needed at the moment.
My favorite family! I am dreaming about being with the boys, now. It's getting really bad. I have to, I must, I really need to see them soon.
Love ya.
Laney, you have such a cute crew!
I started To Kill a Mockingbird last night! It's on my list and Mr. UPS Man brought it to my door yesterday.
I'm already in love with it. It's not at all what I thought it would be.
Enjoy!
Oh, a week in pictures - what a great idea!! And they're sooo cute. You look great, too, btw! I was reading backward to get caught up and read "fat flush" and thought I was going to have to talk you down, but then I read about the clothing not fitting and, yeah, I totally understand. Just be good to yourself, and know that you're absolutely beautiful! (But it probably feels better to be beautiful AND comfortable simultaneously.)
