Trooper.
He was already named when we got him and we really liked the name, it fits him. He was rescued from a woman who severely neglected him and he bounced back like a, well, like a trooper!
He is already house broken and he is so friendly and polite. Yes, I said polite. He is. Really.
The boys absolutely love him and so do I. I almost can't believe it because I don't fancy myself a dog person. And the craziest part, he really likes me. He wants to sit on my lap and he follows me around like a puppy. (Hmmmm, did I just say that? )
He has a silver lining all around the black parts of his fur around his eyes. The boys think that he is the silver lined cloud because his presense this afternoon caused such a stir that all lessons were pre-empted til tomorrow.
My dog. And my leg.
Look to the finish!

What a cutie! I'm not a dog person - at all - but he would be pretty hard to resist.
Oh my gosh! What an adorable puppy! I love him!
ADORABLE! TOO CUTE. Congratulations, he is a lucky doggie.
Oh!!! Aren't you lucky!!!
So happy for you and Trooper!!!
He is very, very cute.
And so nice that he's already housebroken! That's half the battle with a puppy.
I remember taking our puppy out to do her business in the middle of the night in freezing cold December. Worse than a newborn human baby!! ;)
Congratulations on the new addition.
OMG- he is adorable. That fact that he is a rescue makes the story that much sweeter. That is my favorite breed (well look of ) a dog. The classic black, whie , brown. How cute. Now I am looking forward to all the mischivous boys and their dog stories I know will be coming...
So sweet! Have fun with him
C'mon, Laney, you're slacking again. LOL Hope all is well with you.
So, what? Did the dog eat you?
You'd better post again. I bet KathyJo's just itchin' to yank yer butt off her sidebar! ;)
Miss you - though it was nice to see you popped onto the WTM board.
So you get a dog and who needs your blogging friends? Hope all is well with you and yours.
