Tuesday Quiz

I declare this to be quiz day! You may say, but I didn't even study. Have no fear, it is not that kind of quiz. What rejected crayon are you? Ummm, I am klan white. Ookaayyy.

Did you notice my anniversary ticker? Nod to Jess for that adorable little link. She has one on her site to count down the days until the birth of her fourth little angel. I clicked on the link thinking, "I want a ticker, too." Dontcha wanna have a ticker too? Be a ticker, drink -oops-! Wrong lyrics.

Kevin was reading my blog when he got home from work last night and he was sorely vexed that I did not mention the sweet thing he did yesterday morning. Because he worked a double shift Sunday, he had a late start on Monday. He is given a mandatory eight hour rest period after working more than sixteen hours straight, so he did not have to be at work until ten o'clock. Well, my sweet husband came to the gym to see me! I was so surprised to see him and he looked so cute with his morning face and big smile! Seeing him fills my heart with love and pride. Corny, but very true!

Last week my mother, Laurie and her baby and me and my three boys traipsed over to Laurie's school to help her retrieve the last of her belongings from her classroom. We are a force to be reckoned with and made short work of the task at hand. When it was time to leave, the boys wanted to go with Laurie, as usual. One of the many wonderful things about my sister is her ability to treat children as if they are her equal, my boys adore her and the feeling is mutual on her part. During the ride home Laurie and John were having a conversation. She was asking him what he thinks other people enjoy doing and then they got to the topic of yours truly.

Laurie: What do you think you mom enjoys doing?
John: Oh, that's easy.
Laurie: Yes? What does she like to do?
John: Clean up! She says,"I love to clean up your toys and pick-up things off of the floor".

Oops! What's that saying about little pitchers? Kids! Aren't they funny?

********** Oops!!! My bad! Jess is expecting her fifth little angel! Sorry, Jess.***********

I love your blog! It really made my day. I was having a tough one, but you made me smile. I do like your ticker, I might pick one up myself. I too think your Kevin in a sweetheart. And I agree that Laurie is the best and makes all people (kids, adults, in-betweeners) feel equal. I will be taking the quiz shortly and will report back. Have a great day.

Oops -- I commented on the wrong post! I am "melanoma tan". I'm wondering about the mind of the person who came up with this quiz!

I was also klan white. I was hoping to be something a little more exciting but time o' the month red and spousal abuse blue and melanoma tan just don't really appeal to me! I'll take klan white over them anyday! ;)

I was wearing black.

I am spousal abuse black
and spousal abuse blue (I was wearing my "fancy"(only one pair- what happened to the good ole days...it's sad, but true) pair of undies- black and blue lace)(that's all that was clean)
Anyhoo, I love your ticker, it's a very cute design!!
