Imelda Marcos? Perhaps.

This morning when I was putting away some clothes and shoes, I looked down at the shoe rack and it struck me as very funny. Kevin's lone pair of docksiders surrounded by all of my summer footwear. It's almost as if his shoes are imprisoned by mine. If his shoes could talk they would probably be saying things like, "I wish I was pink with a little silver decoration," or "How could I be the wrong color brown? Brown is brown, right?" or "Hey you, yeah you, white sandals. How come you get worn so much more than I do?" But shoes cannot talk, only horses can.

In case you are wondering, yes, our closet always looks like that because I am just that crazy.

Please pay no attention to the nasty toe prints on my flip flops. I love those shoes any they get worn a lot!

I am answering Donna's Friday Five here because I thought it was a really good one. If you answer on your blog, leave me a comment and I will come on over!

Appetizer
What time do you usually go to bed at night?
Anytime between 10:00 and 12:30. It depends on what book I am reading or how many blogs I have to visit.

Soup
When was the last time you bought groceries? What store did you go to? Name 3 things you purchased.
This morning. I went to A&P, because they are fresh obsessed. I bought apples, bread and steaks.

Salad
How many books have you read so far this year? Which was your favorite and why?
I think I have read 15. The Secret Life of Bees has so far been my favorite, but Between a Rock and a Hard Place runs a close second. I loved Secret Life because it was realistic, sad and happy. I don't like books that are all hearts and flowers and happy endings.

Main Course
What is something you consider to be very elegant? In particular, what about that item/place/person conjures up the feeling of elegance?
I consider high heels to be very elegant. I love women who wear heels and when I wear them I feel glamorous and sexy. (Is that more than you wanted to know?)

Dessert
Who taught you how to drive?
My mother, God love her!!!

Yes, high heels are lovely.
They instantly change a woman's posture, and make her legs look wonderful, too.
At nearly six feet tall, I'm just getting comfortable with my height and I wear them more often now.
My husband loves them, even though I stand about a half a head taller than him.

It must be shoe time! Just yesterday I came home from work and organized my shoes. I have WAY too many also. I love the little q's & a's. You are always sexy!

If my husbands shoes were anything like him they'd be saying, "hey, miss white sandal, you're looking sexy tonight" or "Hey pink thang, wanna make shoe prints together?" ROFL

Our shoes are thrown in a laundry basket by the front door and I wear my sandals till they fall apart too. ;-)
