Funny, right? I think Steven Wright is hilarious.
This quote is appropriate because I have officially turned into a southerner. Monday night we had some rain and the temperature went down quite a bit. From about 90 degrees to 75 degrees in the space of an hour.
Do you know what happened?
I was freezing!
In the middle of dinner I got up and went to put on a sweatshirt. The worst part was I already had on a pair of capris, so my legs weren't even bare.
This happens to me a lot. I think it's payback for laughing at the Floridians who think 72 degrees with a strong breeze is a winter storm.

I am short on time this morning because today is the boys' first day of art. We finally found a teacher that we like and the best part is, she comes to us! Private instruction for one hour. We pay more than we did for art in N.J. but the boys love art and I am so glad that they are getting to do what they love.
The other day Jeremy asked me why I didn't teach them art. I told him that I didn't really know a lot about the mechanics of teaching art even though I have a deep love for art. He said, "Oh, you're just good at other things, like washing the clothes." He cracks me up!

Glad you are back!! It is just awesome that the boys are able to take art lessons. Art is such a wonderful form of self-expression & a past-time that that can be enjoyed throughout life.
Nice to know where you talent lies...washing clothes. ~smiles~
That kid just cracks me up.
Have a blessed rest of the week.
Peace, love, joy...
Hello from the county library's computer center. There are some very colorful people using the computers here. Now I am one of them, I suppose.
Bob, the tech who is "fixing" my computer, hinted at more bad news today - but told me to call back at 4 when he will have a better answer. Better than what, is my question.
You are good at washing clothes! So glad the boys have art lessons back in their schedule. Can't wait to hear all about it.
About the "big head" comment from an earlier post, *no comment*.
Love you all.
Mom
I love Steven Wright! He came to WSU when I was a student and I still remember my favorite joke of the night:
The other day a butterfly landed on my hand. I turned it over and it had a tattoo of Cher on it's butt.
:)
Being a Northern moved South, I share your affliction, lol!
Yes, we Mothers are good at the other stuff, huh? Besides, if I were to teach art, my kids would think stick people were master pieces, lol!
No explanation needed. I hate it if the temp is below 85!
